BOP transmission bolt pattern
the transmission in my 85 regal went out today, my grandfather has an 81 regal that he said i can use for a parts car, it has a freshly rebuilt tranny but the tranny is for a 350 buick v8, the motor i have in my regal is a v6. will the tranny for the v8 bolt up to the v6 as long as it has the BOP bolt pattern?

Yes, as long as the torque converter patter lines up. The trans itself will fit.
