Rupp Twin Engine Go Cart, Need help and info.

I just bought what I think is a 1970 or so Rupp Mean Machine 2. I do not know for shire. The motors are not stock and do not run. I am looking for info on the cart and motors.
I need coils for the 2 motors I have and would like to find two of the original motors if possible. Thanks for the help. Randy

Contact Fairfield Motorsports in Independence, Missouri, they currently have a cart similar to this one on their showroom floor that has been restored, very cool. The engines look like Macullouhs (sp?). They have a website and have been in the karting sport for decades.

If the compression get's low, those engines won't run right, - or at all.
I had one and that was the reason. Ran good before it wore out!

Thanks for the comments. I will call Fairfield Motorsports to see if they can tell me what year the cart is.
The motors have good compression just no spark. We checked the points and all looks well. Thanks Randy
