      Hydroboost question

I'm gonna be ordering some brakes for my car in a few days and I don't know if I need to order manual or power or if it even matters. I don't have power steering right now, but I eventually plan on adding power steering and a Hydroboost unit. I was going to order manual discs since I've got manual drums right now, but I don't know if I need a power master cylinder or if the Hydroboost works with manual and power master cylinders.

      Help please.

      Matt

I honestly don't remember how I ordered my brakes. Give Paul at Hydratech a call, He'll set you straight with any questions.

What type of brakes are you buying?? Stock of some sort??

As far as the m/c and hydraboost is concerned, this is quoting Paul from Hydratech:

Hi Nick - I'd go for either the 1" or the 1 1/8" MC. The 1 1/8" will give you an ever so slightly firmer pedal as compared to the 1" version, though either will do splendidly (hard to tell the difference in back to back swap outs between the two sizes). If you need further info, please either call or e-mail, as I don't log in much on the forums (won't see your PM for who knows how long)...
If you are going to run manual for a bit, you would be better off with the 1". You will have slightly better modulation and less pedal effort. The 1 1/8" will be a very short pedal and slightly more pedal effort.

I'm gonna be ordering SSBC's kit for the AFX spindle. So far it's the only setup I've found that will fit my 16" wheels.

I just noticed that their site doesn't say anything about the mc. I hope the kit comes with one. I don't want to have to spend more money on it.
