New Feature on PT.com...Trader Rating.

Pro-Touring.com is proud to announce a new trader rating system for members who buy and sell parts here in the forums. It is called iTrader. Refer to the upper right hand corner of your thread box when you post, you will see that you now have a "Trader Rating".

iTrader is a great new add-on package which will allow members to leave feedback on others when buying and selling items. This new feature will benefit everyone here on the forum because this system will keep track of past transactions.

Here is a very quick run down on how to use the new iTrader Rating System.

When viewing anyone's post anywhere in the forum, If you click their Screen Name to the left of their post, a new pop up will display. On the lower section of this popup you will see a new Trading Section. In this Trading Section there are two options, Leave Trade Feedback! and View Trade History.

Instructions: Leave Trade Feedback!
You can only leave feed back if you have bought, sold or traded an item to that user through this forum.


URL link is a must in order to confirm the transaction took place here on the forum.

All of the fields within that section MUST be filled in with the exception of the Additional Comments. Once form is completed, click Submit Reply and your feed back will be left for that user.

Maybe it is just me but when I click on my trade rating it won't allow me to see any of the info.

$bbuserinfo[username], you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
3. If you are trying to post in the classified section you may not have 10 posts acredited to your name. In order to cut down on spam we require each member to have at least 10 posts prior to posting in this section.

Quoting multiple posts, say I want to respond to your post and to John's above, I have to reply twice instead of being able to put them both into one post. I normally just copy/paste the text from the quote page but it doesn't allow you to copy.

That would be fancy, but I like the new feature. So, does this apply to our sponsors that are on the board too? Say, loads of good ratings for Frank since their customer service rocks?

It works for everyone but, you have to point to a thread dealing with the transaction or discussion of it to work.
