      67 Mustang

Anyone here that has used an AJE front suspension crossmember to adapt later spindles and struts to a 67 mustang?

No but I've heard ALOT of people complain about how the struts are a cheaper, less superior set-up compared to the original. Some say it changes the handling to a negative. I have no bias though.

IMO, the only advantage of using the later Mustang stuff would be parts availability. It's certainly not a better design as far as geometry goes than the earlier cars ... they both suck!! LOL

I used to have to run 3 to 3-1/2 degrees of static negative camber in my 87 Mustang race car, to keep the outside tire straight up when cornering ... and that was only from the grip being generated by R-compound tires of 15 years ago, not today's stuff.

      front supsension swap

My biggest interest in this swap is to make the car better to just drive for my son that will be getting his license in about 2 years. the swap will get Cobra disc brakes R&P steering. I can get this swap done for about $900. Anybody got any other sugesstions

$900 sounds like a pretty good price for that swap. Is that crossmember one that's made for street use? I know that for some applications, the tubular crossmembers are made fairly lightweight, intended for dragstrip duty only. Be sure that it's sturdy enough to stand up to potholes on the street.
