shop rates
Hello,
My borther in law has a shop, he does mainly newer cars and custom trucks. He is starting to do a few 60's era cars and as such is doing some restoration work. I was wondering what kind of rates they are charging in your area.
Thanks

I charge $75 per hour for metalwork, body & paint, I only specialize in hot rods, exotics and muscle cars- no daily collision work. Been doing it 25 years now too...
Im in the Boston MA area and thats pretty par for the course here for a rate.
