      Firebird in Iceland :)

      Hi there

I just found this awsome forum and just wanted to say hi to get started

      I got a 1968 Firebird.
Have had it for 10 years now and Im getting to do some of the things I have always wanted to do with it.

Started with an engine build of course ;)

Its a 474 cid stroked 455 block with Edelbrock heads ported by JBP and other nice bits should make about 600 hp acording to JBP

Next thing I want to do is the rear end and suspension, Im hoping to get some good info from you guys ;)

Well, thats a bit more than a HI but anyways

      HI there

      Thanks :D

I guess there is about 4 months that are really good but only 3 or 4 that are really bad, in the past years we have not really gotten much of a winter so..

I´v been riding my bike almost non stop since last summer, only parked it away for a couple of months.

That no-winter deal sucks though, no snowbording for me :(

Having loads of hobbies is a norm over here i think, there is a motorcycle or a musclecar in every other garage it seems.

They say that Iceland is known for having the most physically fit population in the world. Body building is huge there.

I am always amazed at the population of old musclecars outside the U.S and where they end up.

Welcome to the site and be sure to share some pics when you get em.

I was thinking the same thing. Parts have got to be pricey overseas, not to mention the price of fuel in other countries.

Well since the dollar has gone down so much I can get a part from the US for the same amount of Euros that they are listed in dollars.
