Rear end info help...

Does anybody know of any websites or books that I could look into to get GM rear end dimensions and measurements? I'm going to build a ford 9" housing in class for my g-body and I need alot of measurements.

Just get another G body rear end and measure it. I don't know of any place that you can get these measurements. The total width is 58 inches. I have the angles and some of the measurements for the lower controll arm brackets and spring perches, but I don't have any information on the upper controll arm eyes.

Thanks...I'm out of state at school and was just trying to save the trip of going home to get the rear out of the car. But I guess thats what I'll have to do.

You can probably pick up one from a junk yard cheap. Tell them that all you need is the housing. You will need a junk housing to get the brackets off of anyway.
