Why not just use the best epoxy available?

      www.southernpolyurethanes.com

$64 for the Primer $64 for the Catalyst. Gives you 2 sprayable gallons of primer.

If you use an HVLP type gun and don't waste your primer you can paint a frame and body with a gallon no problem. Be ready to spen around 200 bucks for a gallon of primer with activator for any good brands like PPG or DuPont etc. If you are painting bare metal frame or if you have your body stripped right now, then paint it with a coat of metal etch primer first. Really the only great thing about an epoxy primer is that it is weather resistant.....but who is going to leave their bare project outside anyway? Ever thought about using POR-15 on your frame? It's pretty durable.

Just use a paint brush... it really falls down. You will be amazed at how nice it turns out.
