      spider gear

      this may be a dumb quetion but are the spider gears diff. in a gm 8.2 versus a 8.5.

      I tried to fix a broken 8.2 with 8.5 parts. They wouldn't fit. The center pin and the gears are different.

      Yes, the parts are different. The axles are the same.
