      65 comet - new here

Hey guys, heard about this place and hope to get info for my build. I'll be starting it this fall and want to develope a solid plan and start getting parts. Tried to post some pics but couldn't get it to work yet, I'll get some on here. I'm most interested in suspensions, bang for the buck, to make this car a fun all around driver. Right now, it's the poorest handling car I've ever had and I rebuilt the stock suspension when I bought it 4-5 years ago. It's all manual and a good dependable driver now, just handles like crap.
Looking forward to hearing from first hand experience and getting a suspension planned out. Motor will be a big inch small block, TKO 600 trans, and power acc. My goal is 20 mpg and an honest 450 hp motor in a fun to drive anywhere car. See ya when.

welcome, try uploading the pictures here (www.tinypic.com)

then once you upload them, copy the HTML code that says "for forums and online message boards" or something like that then just paste the html code here.

      This is from FunkyNova66(Dave)!!!

      OK PEOPLE.....Here it is.

First you must register to use photobucket. http://photobucket.com/ Once you are REGISTERED and LOGGED IN, you do the following:

Go up to your BROWSE BUTTON to retrieve the picture off your hard drive (Look below):

Once you click the BROWSE BUTTON you will get a CHOOSE FILE prompt, highlight the picture you want to upload and click the OPEN button (Look Below):

Next Click the SUBMIT button (look below). This will upload the picture into photobucket. Scroll down to see the picture.

Once the picture is uploaded into photobucket,
You must highlight and copy the IMG string over to the Pro-Touring.com thread.
NOTE: You CAN NOT Copy and paste from the picture itself
YOU MUST COPY THE GREEN HIGHLIGHTED AREA YOU SEE BELOW. (Look Below):

Come over to Pro-Touring.com to the thread you would like to post the picture and PASTE the IMG string. (Look Below for example):

      Click SUBMIT REPLY and WALLA!

Understand, that you can upload as many pictures as you like into photobucket. You can copy as many different IMG strings as you like over to Pro-Touring.com thread.

      EDITING PICTURE SIZE
Note: This is important if your camera takes big pictures. You don't want to post pictures that are way too big. People with dial up will get bogged down by big pictures when opening a thread.
Before you post the pics make sure they are proper size. Simply click on the picture to look at it first. If it is too large, go to BACK and click the EDIT above the picture button. Under RESIZE PICTURE click the "75% of original" button then click the RESIZE button. Once this is done, click on picture to open it and check out the size. Once they are acceptable, simply copy your Img string over at that point.

prior to uploading shots to "Photobucket" go to your picture files and resize pictures to a max size of 800x600.

when posting images, please Stack images...

      as so:

      Image
      Image
      Image
      Image

if images are Strung together, the screen is distorted

      please don't post:
