      BRP Rack and pinion

Is this a performance upgrade worth the money? Are there any bump steer problems with it like the steeroids kit? Will it hold up on track days?

It is nothing more than a 4th gen rack. Placement is wrong, and required extra long steering arms to help bump steer which increased turning radius. I think you would be better off with a box from dse.

Is the DSE box the same as the stock camaro box just with differant gears, is it smaller/lighter? Also I have solid 1/2 inch lowered bushing how can I get the box to line up with the steering colume?

It is an AGR box that has been rewoked and blueprinted. Faster ratio steering and better feedback. It is a nice box. You may have to shift the column at the firwall to get it to line back up. Kyle at DSE should be able to tell you exactly how to do it.

      Lining up column....

      JoeLean,

You can buy an intermediate shaft from AGR that has U-joints at both ends, it willkeep you from messing with the column/firewall. About $200.
