By chance did you talk to John Spears of www.speartech.com? That is who did mine.

I told him what features I wanted to keep & what ones I wanted to get rid of, he removed what I didn't want & left labeled wires for me to hook up fuel pump relay, SES light, tach signal, power, memory. Everything I needed, reprogramed the PCM to remove 2-4 skip shift on T56, EGR, VATS, & added a little performance to it. All for around $550 (I think), that was 3 or 4 years ago.

I used LT1 wiring to rework my factory LS1 harness and reprogram my ECM. The work looks fine but I have not powered it up yet. The price seemed reasonable, around $300 for everything if I remember. I found them on ebay.

All the wires were labelled and they include a wiring diagram showing how to hook up the connections. He also included the fan and fuel pump relays and OBD connector.

      lt1350.com blows balls

I had a conversion harness done from them in my lt1 sonoma and it never worked as it should. I even sent it back to them and they still didn't fix it(although i still had to pay) and did not stand behind their work. They are abunch of jack asses. I have since purchased a harness from speartech and all is well.

The transmission never shifted correctley and the computer never knew which gear the transmission was in and caused the torque converter to lock and unlock randomly. They also grafted the harness so the stock gauges in the sonoma would work but the only one that stayed working was the gas gauge.

So, any news, hows the harness look from them? I just got another LT1 ( that makes 3 now) and was considering having LT1WIRING.COM do the other 2 PCM flashes, and harness mods. They sure talk a big game on there website and eBay store, about their quality and experience, but customer service is a big part of a successful business.
I did the last harness myself, but I thought for an extra hundred bucks over the price of flashing the PCM, I'd let them do it this time, and save myself the hassle.

I had to use some minor persuasion to get mine to line up ('71). They should fit though.
