      Tie Rod question

I have a 73 Nova that I have added the ATS AFX spindles to and am using the 69 Camaro Z28 short tie rod arms on. The rims I have are lightly contacting the rim inner surface. I ordered up the Baer trackers but given the size of the they actually make the problem worse. Before I look into a little more narrow of a front wheel I wanted to see if there are any other tie rod or tie rod arm options out there that might sort me out.

I think someone else here used a washer to shim the steering arm away from the rim.

I saw that and it is one option I am looking at. Although I would rather have the arm bolted directly to the spindle. At least that would be my number 1 choice. But spacing it away is also on the table.

Jake, what size rim are you running? Spacing the rim outward an option?
