Flat paint???

[Damn True]

Does anyone else think this 'flat paint' trend will pass in a couple years, and flattened paint will become a trademark for cars built in 'this' timespan?

Will flattened paint be like day-glow stripes were in the '80s?

I, for one, will stick with shiny paint that hopefully won't look too 'dated' in 10 years.

Interesting point, and you are probably right. But, if:

a) I planned to ever sell the car.
or
b) I gave two $hits what anyone else thought about my car.

I would care. But I don't, and I don't so it don't matter if it's a temporary trend.
