It's been a few years since I've been to Paris. I'm trying to make room in my schedule for attending the Johnny Appleseed Shoot in Puryear September 22 and 23. That's only about 15 minutes (more or less) from you. You shoot?

Right now a (big) pile of parts, though.

      Puryear

15 minutes exactly. No, I don't do any shooting, and I didn't realize that there was such a thing in Puryear as the Johnny Appleseed. It does make sense, though, because the Rod & Gun Club is in Puryear. Be sure to drop a line closer to time for you to come to the area.

Will do. I'm not sure if the Johnny Appleseed shoot is held there every year or not, but it's supposed to be this year. Right now I'm on crutches from a torn Achilles tendon. I need to be off of them before I start trying to carry a rifle or two around. lol I'll drop you a line when time gets closer. Thanks again all for the warm welcome.

It's been a while since I've been up that way, but the Oak Ridge area is nice. What will bring you to the area. Family? Work?

My wife works for Oak Ridge Associated Universities. I'm hoping for a transfer for her, I HATE the DC area!

I've only been to DC once - prior to 9/11 as a chaperone to a bunch of 8th graders. Yay!

      BTW, nice 442 project.
