I used longer fasteners thru the wheel for the thickness of the brackets. I trimmed out the aluminum pieces with rectangular slots where the factory CC buttons would pop in.

There are 4 pieces of aluminum actually, LH, RH (mirror images) and then a top and bottom filler, all with holes to match the Momo pattern. The RH/LS mirror approach made it easier to fabricate in the garage to ensure they came out symmetrical.. and I only had 2" stock.

As for wiring I reused the factory stuff. I got the idea from the late 90's Saleen's before the airbag wheels came in. Works great!
Sweet! Does the Momo hub adapter have enough brass contacts to allow this, or did you have to modify the hub as well?

Nice Mustangs. Finch, I love the tail light treatment on the car. It looks great, along with all of the other mods. The stance is spot on.

Car looks incredible.I just started work on my 68 coupe. What are the specs on the wheels and tires.Did you use a stock width rear?Just more proof that it doesnt have to be a fastback to be cool.

Wheels are 18X8 front with a 5" BS and 18X10 rear with a 5.5" BS. I cut the rear down so it is 2 inches narrower then stock to get the dish look on the wheels. Tires are 245 front and 285 rear.

It is air ride front and rear and those pics are deflated. I had no tire rub issues with these wheels but did have to make some minor adjustments with the new Rushforths.
