It doesn't matter how many times I see that, it still hurts to watch. I should imagine the damage would have been much worse if those water barrels weren't there.

Watch this video instead. It shows Billy's first run which was kick ass, then shows the second run.

I was going alittle faster than i should have been probably, but the main reason was when I went to hit the brakes the pedal went to the floor. I panic pumped them like crazy, and when i got a pedal you can see the tires just locked.

You can also see the front wheels bounce off the uneven pavement a coupla times. That didn't help. But most importantly, I think that the engine overpowered the car when you downshifted back into 2nd and sent the revs up where the engine is delivering more power. I'm pretty sure that you ran it up to the top of 2nd gear in your first run without using 3rd.

Billy and his dad are amazing fabricators. The car is getting a second chance as a streetfighter with a channelled body and some radical modifications. Should be one of the coolest pro-touring cars of all time.

Thats sucks Billy but im glad you are ok and most importantly you hit the barrels and didn't try to save it by going through the opening in that wall....where a lot of people standing in. Hope to see Nova v2 very soon.
