      New guy from Western N.C.

I found this site by chance by googling. I have a Caprice that I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with. It's the family "Mini-Van" as my wife calls it.

Welcome! I lived on the east coast of NC for 36+ years. Post some pics of your Caprice. What are your plans for it?

      Welcome

It's nice to see some folks from NC. What part of western NC are you located. I have worked at the Asheville steam plant, and the Hydro plant in Waterville. I always like visiting that area.

Thanks for the kind welcoming. I live in Sylva about 20 minutes from the Cherokee Casino. I'd like to restore the Caprice to like-new condition body wise. Mechanical wise i'd like to put a 355 or a 383 with a good strong auto behind it. Make it handle alot better with some S-10 extreme wheels on it to keep it looking somewhat subtle.
