      T56 Yoke install

I'm in the middle of installing the slip yolk inot my T56 so I can measure for driveshaft length and I do n ot think it is fully seating. There is a flange on the yolk that has an o ring seated in it. I assumed that this o ring rode against the surface of the housing as a cushion if the yould should botton out. I am able to get the yolk all the way in except for the last 1" when it comes against someing soft and cushioning. I think that this is the shaft seal but I am not certain.
Is it the seal and if so how much pressure should it take to get then og the yolk through it? I do not want to risk damaging the seal.
      TIA, John

      Never mind I got it!!
