      2009 Camaro

This has probably been asked to death but, does anyone know when you can reserve a new camaro? Have the engine, trans options been determined yet? Is there an ss option? What size wheels and tires, color and stripe pkgs. etc. Thanks for the info!!!

You can find a ton of info here:

I've heard stories of some dealers offering to take deposits. Can't say I agree with it ethically, official pricing is still pretty far off.

Not sure who told you that. The Camaro program is VERY important to our product line and is most definitely "a go". The pre-production phase is happening as we speak. Look for it in Autumn of next year.

I don't know about "reserving" one, but my Dad is already on the list at the local Chevy dealer for one.

      Camaro

I think the ss option will be a go thats the ls2 w/21s and 22s hotrod
did pretty much a option sheet back when chevrolet first introduced the idea to the public it was basically a order sheet with all the possible options that you could fill out and send back to hotrod and they would forward it to chevrolet to help them figure out what the pulic would buy.

if they do come out with one i'm buying one no matter what they look like because when the 2009 camaro is a classic you know how much it will be worth. I ain't lyin everybody's going to want one

The '09 Camaro will have the LS3.

      LS2 ceases production this Fall.

Here's hoping they have a surplus of LS2 shortblocks that will need to be sold.
