I hear you on that one. You east coast guys have it a little rough when it comes to good days to drive your hot rods, or at least that's what I hear. Us California boys have it easy. Almost all year round you can go out and enjoy your toys! Not that I'm trying to rub it in...

As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. At least that's what I keep telling myself... I'm still trying to find $ to keep going on my build. Selling brand new parts that haven't even been used yet to fund the next part of my build is proving to be a pain in the a** in this economy.

Oh well. It'll happen sooner of later.

Keep the updates coming Wayne. We all look forward to seeing it finished!

I agree its tuff. When I started my project I was working 6-7 days a week, sometimes 20 hour days three times a week. It was crazy but my wife agreed to let me keep all the extra after the bills were paid. So it went fast . Now I'm retired from construction and home.
The money train has left the building!

It's nice to hear that coming from another shop. I know all about it cuz I work at a body shop out here in norcal. The nerve some people have when it comes to they're cars. Demanding that it be put ahead of everyone else that came before them.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that everybody has their own particular wants and needs. But they almost always get a little out of hand cuz they don't know the amount of work it takes to get sh*t done. Especially when they themselves have never, ever done what they're paying you to do to their car. Argh!

Got a little carried away with that oops

Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see more pics!

Well here is my first post, I can't stand it any longer.

I know all (and I gotta tell someone) about it cuz I work at a body shop (dayum, just as good as NASA) out here in norcal. The nerve some people have (you got that right !!!, remember, there is always two sides to every story) when it comes to they're cars. Demanding that it be put ahead of everyone else that came before them.(how do you keep the bondo dust off the crystal ball, ahh, I feel much better now)

      Sorry,
Southern redneck in me coming out, I couldn't hold back, juz had to weight in on this one.

... I'm not sure if I understand what you're saying... Are you angry with what I typed above? Or are you agreeing with me?

Good. I couldn't really tell... I said before I work at a body shop so I wasn't sure if he saw that comment and thought I was being a jerk of something.

And I hope I can be in the same club as you guys who are happy with what they have after waiting a long time to get it, whether or not you build it yourself!

Mike cool to see you here. Just joined a while back while I was looking for info on installing my ZF-6speed. I was on here today looking for an all alum. 6.0. Jim and I decided to go smaller and lighter rather than with the 632.
