Dave and I are doing RevItUp in Alameda on the 7th of July. Should be fun.

They had one in Chicago a couple of years back and it was a blast. The gokarts were as much fun as the cars. Test driving the RX8 was fun too but it really didn't make me want to go buy one.

      Hightly recommended for the $$$$$$

Have fun and drivem like you stole it!!!!!

For those of you who have not signed up visit https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...&highlight=rev for a Pro-Touring.com member price. I'll be at the El Toro event and I can't wait.

This looks like it's going to be a real blast.

      Well that was pretty fun...
Never having participated in any competitive driving before and scored a miserable 38 seconds on the first run. I felt a lot better about my 32 second run the next time around. For comparison, the pro's index times were 28 point something... If I only had a few more runs I might have been at 30. I think you pretty much had to be under 30 to have any chance at moving on. While I was there a guy ran the best time in the whole country so far... Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do any practice runs as the lines were too long and I was too pressed for time. It was fun to run the karts - I was lucky to go when there were just 3 of us and the track was pretty open. Likewise it was cool to drive a C6 Vette, although the course was waaaay too short... would have loved to have more track time in that sucker!

Tom! I missed you. I just got home and I had a great time as well. I sure did need more laps in the cobalt. I too didn't run any practice laps and should have. It's fun beating the snot out of the cars. I'm shocked at the Trailblazer SS. That thing really moves. Not as well at the C6 I drove but it still did well. Oh I so need a new vette!

I am downloading pics now and I should have them up soon.

I can't wait until next year!

For all of you thinking about doing this don't think any more. Sign up! It's a real blast!
