      Custom Sway Bars

I am hoping someone can help me with a custom sway bar. I have a CA Chassisworks front 29" wide front clip in my car and the sway bar they offer is too small. I would like a 1 3/4" if possible. Anyone know of a company who could make me one?

      Hello Morgan

I can't help with your question but am curious how you like the CA sub.

I will be following this thread to see if in fact there are options as I too noticed the sway bar seemed tiny.

      good luck

I didn't actually use the CA sub as they didn't make it when the frame in my car was being built. We used their Hot Rod front clip with tubular control arms, rack-n-pinion and QA1 coil overs. I like the front clip very much and wished that they had made their Camaro front sub kit when I started. My only complaint is the sway bar size. Actually, at that time my complaint was that they didn't offer a big brake kit so K.R.S. (the shop that built my car) made one for me using Wilwood 6 pistons and '02 Vette rotors.

BTW how did you come up with an 1 3/4 bar? That is a really big bar.

I know, that would be huge and most certainly over kill but I figured I would throw it out there and see how big a bar I can put in it.

I believe that Hoerr racing has some that all have the same size splines so that all you need to swap them is new bushings.
You would only need one set of arms.
Sold by the inch I think.

Buy a copy of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. There are at least 2 Co's with ads that will bend custom bars (stock style). I think one is a big name like Addco or??? I have to find my last copy. They are if I remember under $200 or so.
