      SPAL PWM Fan Control Failed

The thing just stopped working, No warning at all and only 400 miles on it. Getting ready to return it. Power going in, nothing going out to the fans. Anybody got any ideas or have a simular issues with these. I haven't seen any thing bad and the thing worked awesome. No burnt wires, nothing. The thing looks as good as new, just doesn't work anymore.

      Trouble shooting tips

You can ground the blue wire, which is for the A/C, to eliminate a sender problem. If it turns on, check the wiring of the temp sender.

Also, if you disconnect the battery, I believe you then have reset your on/off settings.

I've been running mine for over a year with no problems.

I tried the A/C activation. I even removed and re-installed the unit and tried to re-program the unit, but nothing, no lights no fans. The supplier has given me an RA# for a return. This no slam on SPAL, this is a nice item and I know allot have used them with no issues.

Did you get your Spal controller issue sorted out? I'm an authorized Spal dealer and they are literally right up the street from me. I deal with Mark primarily so I can light a fire if I need to! ;)

Does it come with a fuse? Did you check the fuse? That should be the first place to check.

The fuse was the first thing I checked. The supplier gave me a RA# and I had a new unit back in the car in less than 10 days. Not bad considering shipping back and forth. The new unit works flawlessly and no problems to date. Thanks for asking. Now I gotta get my new Control arms and my Hyrdo-boost installed.
