As long as you can get a bracket to fit it.... None of the VA stuff will work with the factory LS2 stuff...

I would imagine. I know when I called them and told them I had the LS-x compressor, they told me nothing they had would work. After that, I never paid them much mind....

There are others here much more qualified to answer VA questions than myself.

VA uses a Sanden compressor with the kits. The compressor simply needs to be mounted correctly to work correctly. So like Goatman said, as long as you get the brackets that work with the LS2(LS1/6 should be the same), the system should work. You may need to get custom hoses with different ports to connect up to the compressor though as it may put it in a place where the VA system's supplied hoses won't work.

For what it's worth, I will be using a Sanden 508 or 709 on a 5.3 with a car I am building. No kit is availible for what I am doing. I have to design the bracket to hold the compressor. After that, I simply need to get the hoses made up to fit to the factory condensor and evap core. I'll also need to make sure the different pressure sensors get mounted correctly on the hoses. The bracket is the biggest deal. You should be able to find a bracket that works for you though. The hoses are simple. Try Hot Rod Air or Alan Groves (sp?) for brackets to hold the Sanden.

The LS uses a variable compressor and will not work. But the kit comes with the new compressor and all we will need to do is find you the correct bracket. We can hook you up when your ready.

Make sure you give Mike at Classic Auto Air a call before you make your final decision. I was going to go with Vintage however with some advise from other people who have extensive knowledge on A/C systems I went with Classic for my Ls2 swap. Their number is 813-251-2356. After doing research I found their system superior to Vintage.
