I couldn't image loosing a child. Our son was born with Pulmonary Hyper Tension (you may remember the messages a year ago April), we were afraid we were going to loose him, but he is fine now.

So sorry to hear the bad news.

I've lost a 3 month old to SIDS. There's nothing to compare the pain to. Nothing. Stay supportive of your friends, they need you more now than ever. Most of our friends just abandoned us because they didn't know how to act or what to say after the funeral.

Wow. I couldn't even imagine how your friends are feeling. Like Tony said, the best thing you can do for them is to stay supportive. Help out as much as you can.

Sorry for your friend's loss. I just lost a friend last week, but she had lived 62 years. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to loose a new born or toddler.

That has got to be the worst thing. Parents should never have to bury their little ones. I am choked up just thinking about it.

Be there for them as I am sure you are. I know I would need a support system like anything if I were in those shoes.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Came close to losing my son to an asthma attack. The thought of that was unbearable. Just could not fathom my life without my kids. Stay close to your friends they need the support. You and your friends are in our prayers.

I think that pretty much wins the prize of "the hardest thing anyone should ever have to go through". I cant, and dont even want to imagine what that must be like.
