I live in Lafayette where the Alsops are from and went to school with Morgan. I saw Mike driving a new yellow GTO with bullrun stuff all over it the other day so.... rumor around town is there is another show going to run and they are supposed to defend their title in the yellow goat. Who knows the truth though.

Is anyone else confused why people would pay that much for a mild TA?
Hell, my 98 TA has a lot more done to it than that car, and it is in a LOT better shape, and I wouldn't expect to get more than $12k for it. And I'd sure as hell rather have my car over that one.

Someone is gonna have buyers remore BAD!

I am guessing Mike is around 42-ish, and Morgan is 20-22ish..

Probably a exotic car they've been wanting.

Lame. It's at nearly 30k and the reserve is still not met.

The car received national attention on Bullrun (as the winner!!) and was featured on the cover of High Performance Pontiac magazine. That in addition to being highly upgraded from stock regarding engine and chassis. This car has received a lot of masculin attention.

It proved itself to be a very capable high-performance car. Add the "as seen on TV" factor and I think it's worth much more than your typical mini-van! (Priced one of those lately)

I'm guessing his reserve is over 40K. Some collectors love TV cars, and this one has a pretty cool history.

If my house didn't need a new, and I didn't have four kids to raise I'd up the bid today ;)

No need to get upset, and yes, I have priced them lately. I price the parts for them everyday as well. Aside from the TV stuff, the car is nothing different than 1000s of other 4th gens. It simply will not hold it's value or be worth what it is going for. In a few years, no one will care that it won Bullrun the TV show. Sell it while it's hot will be the only way to come close to getting any of the money spent on it back.
