      Thanks

if you buy the connector from GM the wires are white...the connector is marked as to which wires are "A" and "B" thats why I gave the pinout info in the other thread...if you get a plug from a vehicle, the wires are color coded to match the colors the original poster gave in the other thread....the part number he gave has changed to the one I listed though if you buy a new one

      Mark-

The pigtail doesn't care which ones go where.

Put one of the wires to a ground, and the other to the 12v signal wire on the speedo.

don't do anything with the sender output unless you need to connect it to an ECM

the Helms manual listed one as a high signal and the other as the low...I'm guessing they are both within usable range for the speedo? I used the low

Thanks. I'm still contemplating on putting in an electric speedo, probably mounted on the column, or getting the Abbott unit and using the stock speedo.

You talking about the Nova? I'm surprised it is not "reserve met" on ebay.

I ordered the pigtail from GM and just hooked up the wires. Went through the calibration procedure that Autometer laid out and wa la, it was done.

By the way, what happened? You had mentioned that you wanted $30k for the car, then it gets over that on ebay and it is reserve not met.
