Mike, you've hit the nail on the head!

      HemiDaytona,

There are several factors we concider when taking on a project. "Coolness" being an importaint one. Email me at [email protected] and I can go into further detail.

My personal suggestion would be to pick a design, and go from there. there are custom finishes you can choose. It makes a huge difference.

Exactly what's been said above. Custom one off wheels are $$$. If there's a design that is similar to what you like, I'd suggest just choosing that and going with it. If you're intesting in doing a set of one off wheels, Intro would be more than happy to work with you. Just let me know.

$6K is probably light. Were looking at more then that for our SEMA car. But it is worth whatever it cost to get them just right.

Billet Accessories Direct also does 1-offs at a reasonable rate. BAD is looking to get into the PT/Muscle Cars and might cut you a heck of a deal just to help get the name out!

If a wheel is a variation of an existing wheel is that considered a custom on off? For instance I raely like the Budnik M5 and Fontana wheels with the fat lip profile, the Fontana has a dished variation but I realy want/would like an M5 in a dished format seeing as they are very similar in design with only diferent spoke designs. Would this involve any major retooling or programming to achieve this therfore been considered a on off?

Yeah cubes it is. Even taking a existing 18" wheel and making it a 19" is a entrily new program. You would think one would be able to put the mouse over the drawing and expand it 1 inch, but NOOOOO! Entirely new program, which is $2500 to start.

Thanks, next question should be does Budnik have any plans to produce an M5 dish wheel, personaly I think it will be a killer retro design, until then shoot me a pm or email on the cost ofa set of 18x7 and 18x10 Budnik M5 Fat lip, or Fontana Fat lip Dished or fat lip Gasser with polished outer star and rim and brushed satin inner spokes, thanks again for the insight :( on customs.
