Reset Service Vechile Soon Light?
My daily driver 2001 Grand AM is almost at 50K miles - and my service vechile light ("not the service engine light") came on - I took it to my friend and put the computer tester on it - and it read no codes - so I am guessing that it is just a reminder for normal maintenance - how do I reset it - so that the light will come off?

If you dont have the digital readout (gives you average mpg, oil life etc) you just turn the key to the on position and floor the gas pedal 3x within 5 seconds. Wait until the light starts to flash and thats it. If you have the digital thing select the oil life remaining screen and hold reset and it will reset to 100%
