      media blasting (media)

Has anybody had their car or blasted a car in crushed glass, if so what is your experience? I just got off the phone with a blasting company (which was a referral company) and they said their media of choice is crushed glass, the lady on the phone said it is like the sand that they use on fake playgrounds but that it will not heat up and worp panels.

Or I talked to another company which said that they would mainly use alum. oxide.

Which is the better of the two, or is there an even beter alternative?

I've had several cars stripped using glass bead with no problems. If the blaster is experienced you should not have a problem with warpage.
