Racing Seats in OE Colors! - 69 Camaro Pics

We just finished a set of seats for a 69 Camaro using the o/e madrid black vinyl with houndstooth inserts. We copied the o/e pattern for our inserts. We have set up with PUI (Parts Unlimited Interiors) to buy o/e vinyls and other materials so we can match our seats to your car whenever possible. In most cases, if they make covers for your car we can make our seats to match as well.

PUI has a "simulated comfortweave" material listed they use for their deluxe covers. I will need to get pricing from them on it. They list 5 colors - Black, Dark Blue, Light Green, Dk. Met. Green and Red. Which color do you have?

We can do the comfortweave from PUI as well. They have black and a few other colors in stock.

How much would you sell just houndstooth covers? I am looking to cover '00 camaro seats for the front and the stock deluxe rear.

      Thanks,
      Chris

I just got my seats installed. The driver's seat has the deep bolsters, 21" bottom, shoulder harness slot, and 5th belt slot. The passenger seat has normal bolsters, 22" bottom, and no harness slots.

I will have to ask the upholstery factory that sews ours covers what that would cost. So you are planning on using 2000 Camaro seats in a 69 Camaro with the original houndstooth rear cover?

      Phillip,

Seats look great! Did you use the stock bracket/slider arrangement or something else?

We supplied Phillip with flat mounting plates like show on the link below. Our sliders sit 3/16" off the floor mounted this way. You can ask Phillip how the travel on the sliders compares to the o/e tracks.

We just made a set of seats in a black cloth combo. We used the factory cloth used by Honda in the 06-07 Civic Si. We made one set with deeper back bolsters and red double stitching just to see how well the fabric would work on our seats. We love it! If anyone is interested in this set pm or email me.
