Then i guess ill start working on the front sheetmetal and when thats done ill start on the 4 link/cage which i still need to design. anyone have any input for the 4 link? should probably order some rulebooks for the cage. hrmm

Took the springs and shocks out, welded the shocks up and bolted them back in so it would sit low again

Well as some of you know the direction this car is going has completely changed again. Building a tube chassis, new floor, cage, 3 link, and a modified stock subframe geometry (unless i get really ambitios and take my time designing a complete front suspension from scratch) but if i stick with modifying the stock for now im sure it will get ripped out in a few years in favor of something a bit more geared to my need.

Anyways i went and picked up the 2x4x.120" rec. tubing today for the main rails, 1" sq. to brace the body, and another sheet of 18 ga. for everything else.

Expect more pictures in the near future

This is the inside rocker and door sill, its where the tubing is going to sit for the main 2x4" rails. *the bottom of the rocker sits at an angle stock so im going to bend it down and the the top of the tubing should be even with the pinch weld*

Ouch.. was that really necessary??? (but, it was funny)

So, you decidedt to go the LS1 route huh? Good choice.. Man, that's a LOT of bodywork. You have my undying respect since I hate bodywork
