big block swap
I switched over to a 427 from a 350. my 427 is from a truck and is a tall deck (10.2 in) When I removed the origal bell housing from the tall deck it was huge and heavy (talking over 90 lbs) the fly wheel is giant too. The starter was mounted on the bell housing. I am using a BW T-5 trans. Now my question would be is would I be able to use the flywheel from the 350 or would I have to use the one that came from the 427. And I am using a stock bell housing so would a stock starter fit up with the larger flywheel? Sorry so many questions but both of my engine buddies took of for boot camp.
