master cylinder question
putting a T56 in my 67 camaro, i'm useing the wilwood pedel assembly insted of making the factory pedels work. my question is what size master cylinder do i need for the factory slave cylinder/throwout bearing? the wilwood master cylinder kits come in 3/4", 7/8" and 1" bores, i was thinking of going with the 7/8" to give me a light pedel like the new C6's or the 1" bore and have next to no pedel like the C6 Z06 lol. what do you guys think?

The bigger the master cylinder bore the stiffer the pedal and the shorter the travel.
A stock GM master cylinder for a 2000 Camaro (for example) has a 3/4" bore.
Use a 3/4 bore or 13/16" bore master at largest if using a 2000 +/- Camaro hyd to bearing.
Also, make sure you mount the MC push rod approximately 2-2.25" below the clucth pedal pivot point - if you mount much lower your pedal will be hard to push and your travel will get too sort.Jeff Mortenson
