Roller rockers?
I may purchase new stainless steel roller rockers. I am putting them in a 1970 427 tall deck with stock heads, pushrods and new hydraulic lifters. I am using a comp cams 280H. Will I see any gains in torque or HP? Do you fore see and problems with this set up? I know most don't like tall decks but my plans are to build to 600+ cubic inches once kids leave home.(all that extra money) Thanks for the help.

Due to the friction savings you should be able to free up a few more ponies. Also roller rockers are made to more exacting tolerances so you will have rockers closer to a true 1.7:1 and more all the same compared to stamped rockers.
