      Latest Monte updates...

Well, I've got the engine, tranny, exhaust and fuel system completed. I just need to tie up a few loose ends.
I'm still about 10 weeks behind schedule since I have been screwed over by just about every performance parts company in the country. The only thing I am waiting on now is my FAST wiring from Prodigy and my startup base maps from Prodigy.

      Here are some pictures...

John, you're making my '88 very jealous! Nice work my friend, she looks mean!!!!

Oh, BTW, I took my son out to a cruise night tonite, and he was wondering if we were going to meet up with you and your family. He doesn't forget anything, so we'll have to meet up as soon as you're back on the road!

      Thanks Guys...
Steve, we'll definately get together once I've got mine back together, we need to hit Hooters and Whiskey River down your way and you can come up to Bear Mountain and the Tri-County cruise up here by me.
Sic, No I do not have a website up but you can find various posts here and on MCSS.com under the same user name.

Thank You! It's always nice getting positive comments since there are so few to go around for Montes.
The motor is a 10.5-1 427 SBC on a dart Little M block, Eagle forged crank 4" stroke and 6" eagle forged rods. The pistons are Wiseco forged 4.125". A lunati solid roller cam .582/.582 lift, 251/262 dur @.050, 1.5 rockers. AFR 210cc race ready heads and Stealth ram with a FAST XFI controller.
I'm expecting to push close to 550 HP and 580 ft.lbs at the crank.

      Awesome Monte!

I love the ABS AC block off plate! Very nice!!

Did you do that..or have it made? It looks fantastic on there
and way better than the aluminum or plastic block off plates
that are common on our G-Body's.

      Keep up the great work!

It's a little tough to tell in the picture, especially since it needs to be cleaned but the AC Delete plate is Carbon Fiber and I made it from a sheet of CF.
I agree, I did not want the traditional look and I also wanted to use the space since I never liked the look of the bare space removing the ac left.

MAtt, yeah I did get things worked out, thank to you for the great idea. I think we'll be seeing other G bodies get away from the camaro slave and go this route.
