Factory dash brake light
Does the factory dash have a brake light within the speedo cluster?
If so, does it illuminate when the fluid level drops?
Or when the ebrake is engaged?
The reason I am asking is, the light has never worked and I know the bulbs are good.
I have installed wilwood dynalights on all four corners of my 67 camaro and they have an internal rear ebrake setup. I have forgotten to disengage the ebrake once or twice and I do not want to do that agian.
Wilwood has suggested that I remove the factory proportioning valve which will supposedly enhance braking performance. By doing this, it will remove the brown switch wire that goes from the ebarke switch to the prop. valve.
If there is a brake light within the factory cluster how can I get it to work after I remove the prop. valve?
