      Dual exit same side ??

Anyone have their dual exhaust exit on same side, probably passenger, in front of the real wheels ala NASCAR ???

I always wanted to do that on the 69 Camaro I am working on, but I never found a way (or heard of a way) to get the exhaust under the rocker with still not being too low. Especially since I have DSE Weld in Sub Frame Connector's that I would have to run the exhaust under. I even thought of using the flat exhaust tips but they still seemed too low.

Boom tubes are only 1.5" thick. So they should fit. Plus I'm running 31 x18.5 tires so that should give me plenty of clearance. Plus using oval tubes for the other pipes will allow even more.

      ?? Never heard of them.

But, your tires are higer than mine. I have 335x30x18, whihc is about 26" tall. But, the rear is lowered 3" with a DSE Mini Tubbing kit and lower leaf springs. I supposed if you cut the bottom flange of the rocker and tuck them up tight they might fit. I am sure going to try, because I like the look.

Boom tubes are made by Dr. Gas. Check their site.

Well I decided to go back to a both side exit system. I scored a NASCAR Nextel Cup exhaust system off one of their road course cars. Complete from headers back. Used for only two races. Dr. Gas x-pipe, mufflers, and boom tubes. May require a little fab work to make it fit but for the prices I couldn't pass it up. Plus the guy will be tyraveling to Fla next weekend and will bring it with him so no shipping. Just a little trip to just north of Daytona for me. Also scored a new Griffin 2 row 1.25 tube radiator.

Nice score. I checked out the boom tubes on the website. Some very interesting stuff - that I may use when I get to that point. Thanks for the tip.
