Need help
I have a 1970 427 tall deck. Was running good when I tore it apart to clean and replace, Cam, rods, spring, rockers, intake and carb.
The heads I have now are closed chambered 2.06 heads. I have not removed them yet. I am deciding if I should go with these heads or bite the bullet and get new heads (not Aluminum too much $$) I have all stock parts as of now and will be selling them soon to cut cost of replacements.
If anyone has any input as to intake cam rods rockers heads and such let me know. and getting rid of the tall deck is not an option. I have far future plans of a 600+ Cubic inch and short decks can't get there.

Sorry forgot to tell you what I want out of my engine. I want pump gas. I am more concerened about torque than I am the 1/4 mile. But I don't want to get blown away by these new ford mstangs either. This will be a very streetable car not a strip car.
