Hello, I think I am glad I found this place. I will probably be trying to work out a lot of ideas in the coming months. I am currently working a 68 Cougar project. I have had the car for 13 years and it has continiously been going through changes. It is currently driveable but I have a lot of improvements I want to make to it.

It is a good looking standad Cougar with a 429 big block and c-6 auto, 9" rear with 3.70's, and tiny wheels and tires. The goal of my project is to keep it fast, significantly improve the handling (I would like it ot handle like my Vette if I can) and be nice to cruise in. I have a lot of work to do.



Hopefully I will get to know a few more folks with similar types of cars to share ideas with as I go along.

Cool, your car will make a different kind of pro-touring machine like you don't see too often. Post pics when you get a chance and please keep us updated!

I actually started another thread under the "Welcome to Our Message Board" when I saw it was the approiate topic. I have posted a picture of the car there. Now that I have introduced it there, I will post any new updates here? There are a lot of topics in this forum.

Here is the thread with the latest picture I have. I will post some newer pictures when I get them under this topic. I also plan to be doing work to this car this summer so I will be posting about that as it comes.
