      Dyno results:430.51 RWHP

Our Vintage Trans-Am club went to chassis dyno our cars on Saturday,4 '69 Z/28's,1 '70 Boss 302,3 Vette's (2 BB's),my car pulled a best-of-event 430.51 rwhp @ 6800 rpm and 389.85 lb ft torque @ 5100 rpm.Chad Golen 383 stroker makes real good power and the Patrick James/Pro Systems built 840 cfm carb is the bomb at making power.Best pull ended up switching to 92 rear jets (76 primary's) and retarding ignition to 38 degrees.Mine's the Yellow Z/28:

      Nice pull!

Love your ride. Can you give details on your suspension setup and wheel size? Awesome stance.

Thanks, wheels are Vintage Wheel Works V-40's although they aren't the wheels I intended for this car,I borrowed them from my '70 Z/28.The wheels for this car are American Racing 200S,I am having some wider rears made. The VWW's are as follows:

      Fronts-17x8 (4.5" b/s) 245/45's
      Rears-17x9.5 (5.5" b/s) 285/40's

      Suspension mods:
      Hotchkis 2" lowered front springs
Herb Adams 1 1/4" front bar/7/8" rear bar
Mid-eye GM style multi-leaf rear springs w/1" aluminum lowering blocks
      Koni adjustable shocks all-around
      Solid aluminum body mounts
Polyurethane bushings and end links throughout

Here's a video clip of an earlier run. "Only" 427 rwhp!
We had quite a day! Ran 4 69 Camaros, two BB vettes, one SB vette.

Her 73 pulled 366 hp and 414 torque.
She didn't dyno the 73 or the SS this time.
I'll post the vid link over at nastyZ28 for you. I have two or three others I'll give to you on CD Thursday night.
