      ebay scam alert

Just wanted to give every one a heads up. I got an email through EBAY today that was from a spoof site to try to get my user information. I opened up a real question from another member and compared the two mails. 99% of everything on both pages was identicle. Even all but one links in the mail are to real EBAY url to a real user. (not the same name the mail was from) The only thing different is the yellow button link sends you to a fake EBAY url
Here is some good info about spoof mails. http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidenc...eft-spoof.html
I have recieved a lot of them over the years but have always been able to spot them instanty. This one is as real looking as it could get.

I never any action from an email that is from ebay. I log into my account and check my messages. If it's real - it will show up there too.

From my experience - it's best to only work from within our ebay account. Gotta be careful these days. It seems like the criminals are always a step ahead.
