      took a day off work....

Well, I played hooky form work today and made some significant progress. 3 coats of epoxy prime and 4 coats of 2K high build, what a difference.

      What do you think?

Very nice Dennis. Now it's a little less embarrasing to be seen in that thing. I just wonder what your boss would say if he knew what you were up to......

Thanks guys. Color is going to be a variation of gambler green.........guess where I came up with that.

I sprayed at the local high school....100 bucks for the booth, masking paper/tape, a bunch of ROP flunkies to clean before and after, all the filtered air I need and a tax right off for the 100.00 donation.

2K was a Nason line product, something like 385-18 I think. It is really "thick". I'll bet I put on 20-25 mils today. Sands real nice, I sprayed some scrap just to see and comes right off, no clogging of the paper either.

I still want my P-T sticker!!

Allen.....good thing I don't care what my boss thinks.

Looks good Dennis. Major Improvement. I think you should leave it in primer. Call it The Flying Peach.

LOL..................no more nicknames. I decided it's just going to be an El Camino. Most of it's nicknames up until now have been.............demeaning, it's finally taking shape and starting to be track worthy. See ya'll on the O.T. this spring.

      Lookin' good, Denny!

Unfortunately, I think this puts me back in the lead in the "69 El Camino with the worst paint" competition.
