      new exhaust

      Hi Guys

well i got the car home, i had exhaust installed 3" 304 SS with edellbrock 304 mufflers, workmanship is good but i need to raise it up a bit, i told him it was not at ride height yet, also there is no hanger on the tail pipe its just hanging from the v band clamps, i don't like that but it may be ok anyway i thought i would share.

The dumps are perfect. I'm going to save that picture so that I can show my exhaust guy where they need to be.

      Shorty Headers ?

      Hi!
      Nice work !

      What Headers are You using?
I have about 3,5" claerance to the ground , and I would like to get some more.(see pic.)(Ride hight is not set on pic.Compare to subframe)

      What about steering box/clutch linkage/oilfilter clearance ?
      Any problems ?
Did You have to "bang" the primary tube for steeringbox clearance?
Is it a manual or power steering box ?

      More pics.?

      new exhaust

headers are dougs shorties, (not block huggers) steering box is stock power st, when i first installed them there was around an 1/8' clearance or a little less at the steering box but since running it a while or hooking up the exhaust its almost hitting, maybe there is a 1/32 clearance now, Dougs makes a good quality header and it required no pounding, as for linkage I went hydraulic and filter is no problem. I need to get more pics of the car but there are some here on Pro-touring.com and at Lateral-g.
      thanks for the comments.
