Your car is super hot. I dig the drip rail delete, the late model door handles, and the wheels.

What are they, and what sizes are they?

Finally got the lower control arms fabbed, they turned out pretty beefy. The geometry and straightness is perfect, should look cool once I powder coat them. They use the big mopar screw in ball joint,so I will have to ream the 2002 Camaro control arms.Using Afco uppers because the camaro ones are seriously ugly.Shoul be back on its feet by this weekend.Ron

Nice work. If you don't mind me asking, where did you figure out how to build and fabricate them yourself, and how did you figure out the correct measurements? Also, what size material were they made out of?

The Control Arms Are Made Of .120 Wall 1"x2" Tubing.the Geometry Was Measured And Based Off A 2002 Camaro.the Lowers Were Triangulted Rather Then Using The Funky Looking Camaro Pieces.the Uppers Are Afco Pieces Because They Are So Cheap.i've Bought Alot Of Aftermarket Control Arms Through The Years, and I've Not Always Been Impressed With The Welds And Fit Of Them,so I Desided To Make My Own,at Least This Way You Know They Will Fit.Ron

Have you ever seen it?The uprights are over 20 inches tall,it uses 12 brakes with PBR calipers, and there isn't a junk yard around that doesn't have a late model Camaro in stock. The draw backs are that the uprights are so tall that the upper control arm mounts end up being close to the engine, for a big block application it would get pretty tight. The control arms aren't too attractive, that it why I made the arms.Handling on the new Camaro's is excellent,I think the only reason GM didn't use this on the C5 vettes,is hood height. That upper control arm would be poking out of the hood. Here are a couple of pics of my subframe up on my frame table,I'm still working out the upper control arm mounts. Nice ! I've been lurking around researching ideas for my 67 before I make a plan. I only wish I had the skills to fab stuff like that. Now if I could just convince myself I don't have to do everything myself on every car and just pay someone ..............

I must be slowing down in my old age, took way to long to construct the upper control arm mounts, but there on and its finally back on its wheels.Used the Nascar adjustable slugs on the uppers,so I could adjust the roll center.Ron
