The Malibu!
Well, I am still new here, but I am finally at a point where my malibu project is going to get underway. I bought this car almost a year ago today.....so it seems fitting that I get these pics up now.
I had to drive out to PA to buy it, and its a plain jane, but it is 99.9% rust free, with the exception being two spots of surface rust at the pass. side fixed rear window base area. very low mileage, V6, TH350, etc...etc....for $1,200 it had new brakes, new tires, and brand new rally wheels......all of which will be sold to fund the project!
Future plans are 17" TTII's 235/45/17 Front 275/40/17 rear
ATS spindles with SC&C Stage II kit (Heard to run TTII's and the 13" rotor on TTII's I need C4 calipers though?).
Hotchkis springs front and rear...unsure of the shocks just yet, still sorting that out.
Full F41 bars all the way around to tighten up the front end a bit.
1LE front sway bar and monte SS rear
And an 8.5 rear with a couple other goodies down the road.
Planning on keeping the car ugly until the suspension is all setup and the engine swap is complete........might do something about the seats and the sagging headliner before that though!

Great project car - lots of potential. Looks like a good deal.
I did exactly what you plan - keep the car ugly until after everything else is updated. Well, I'm still updating, and the car is still ugly!
