      Maxton is this weekend

Anyone planning on going to Maxton, N.C. this weekend to see everyone run?
I will be there Saturday and possibly Sunday.

I see your coming to my neck of the woods Bill. I live about 30 minutes from Maxton. I always wanted to go, but haven't made it yet. Maybe I can make it down there.

Yeah it is about 30 miles from me. I may have to come meet you Bill. I was hoping to come to Waterville next month to work, but 2 other co-workers beat me to it. It would have been nice to have a paid trip to the Grand Run.

Hey Bill I looked for you at Maxton, didn't see you. Had a great time watching the speed trials. I bet the guy from Camel Toe Racing had to change his pants after going through the top end in the cotten field. I was looking to see the car damaged, but it looked ok.

I'd forgotten that the Thacker & Shine roadster was sold to someone back east. Cool car.

I don't think he has any affiliation w/ Billet Specialties, although I could be wrong. He is a big car collector in the hobby and recently got into land speed racing.
