I have those upper A arms too. Haven't got both sides on yet, so I haven't taken it to be aligned. I am wondering if the alignment guy is going to be anoyed with these arms. Are they harder to align than normal factory parts? I am using them on S10 ZQ* apindles & C5 brakes parts. Can I use the taller upper ball joints & get the suspension advantage of using taller spindles. I assume that is the reason for the tall ball joints. What about bump steer? Still an issue?

      Thanks

If youl've got a G body frame take a close look at those spring spacers and how you are going to mount them. I have a set that I never used because it looked like the uppper spring perch would have to be cut to allow the spacer to fit. They also recommend welding them in place but I though about bolting them. I never used them because I was going to coil overs anyway.
If anyone wants a set I have them.

Oh, and one more thing.... Test fit the Spohn lower arms very carefully, I had to send mine back to Spohn to have them widened because they would not fit. Spohn told me that they had a problem with their jig and did not catch all the bad ones. Marcus at SC&C also had to cut off the sway bar mounting tab and relocate it for beter sway bar and steering knuckle clearance.

My control arms did not fit well. I was pissed but made them work. Also, the spring cups I am using are just there. I didnt weld or bolt them in. The seem to fit just fine. The spring pressure helps them seat firmly against the frame.

On the upper spring perches in my Monte there are tabs bent down which fit inside and help locate the coil spring. My spacers would not fit over them and I did not feel like cutting them out since they are difficult to get to. I'm glad you didnt have this problem. You'll like those parts.
